contact throughout, and don't have to worry about following up five
different people during your journey.
Here is what our process actually looks like, step by step
01 SOURCING BRIEF
It all begins by you telling us your budget, preferred make, model, year and spec. We then use our exclusive UK dealer network to bring you a shortlist of the best on-market AND off-market cars the UK has to offer.
02 SELECTION & DEPOSIT
Once you have decided on the exact car, we finalise price, delivery window, and clarify any further questions before a commitment to purchase is made.
When you're ready to proceed, we take a deposit of 10% of the vehicle's total landed price in order to secure it on your behalf. This deposit is refundable if the vehicle does not pass inspection and/or if we are unable to find you a satisfactory replacement for the vehicle you initially selected.
03 PURCHASE & INSPECTION
Before we hand over any money for your car, a hand-picked independent inspector from our UK network will conduct a full pre-purchase inspection which we will then relay to you. We do not leave any money with the respective seller until you are briefed on the cars sited condition and are ready to proceed.
04 SHIPPING
Your car is collected, insured for its full value, and booked onto its passage to Australia. Booking confirmation can take up to 2 weeks. At the same time, we lodge the Vehicle Import Approval so it's cleared to land the moment it arrives. Once this all confirmed, we take a secondary deposit of an additional 10% in order to cover associated costs.
05 CUSTOMS & COMPLIANCE
This is the stretch that takes the longest, and the one we're most careful about; shipping, customs clearance, duty and tax, biosecurity inspection, and full compliance through a certified workshop.
06 FINAL INSPECTION & REGISTRATION
Once landed, your car receives a final checkover on our premises. For Victorian customers, this is where we handle registration and stamp duty costs prior to your collection. That way your car is ready to enjoy from the moment you pick it up. Interstate customers will be flown down for a final viewing prior to the vehicle being sent on an enclosed transporter to their respective state.
07 HANDOVER
The moment you've been waiting for. We walk you through the car and its documentation in person and hand over the keys. Final balance is settled, and you are now the owner of your dream car.
08 AFTER-CARE
Collection of your new car doesn't mean goodbye. We check in at one the one-week mark and again at the one-month mark to make sure you're totally satisfied and to answer any questions you may have. We are here to not only offer a trustworthy pipeline, but to offer support where other importing agency's fall short.
